Spherocone

Description

Spherocone ellipsoidal in shape with a body widened at the top, a conical base, and sloping shoulders, made of well-kneaded, dense gray dough. The exterior surface of the vessel is covered with a light gray engobe. The upper part of the spherocone’s body is decorated with alternating, vertically arranged incised lines, with oval-shaped cut edges between them, running the entire diameter. The lower part of the spherocone is marked with three rows of wide, concentric lines running the entire diameter. The neck is straight, with thickened, mushroom-shaped edges.
