Description

A basin made of light-coloured clay, trapezoidal in shape, set on a ring-shaped foot. Made using a wheel-throwing technique. The vessel is assembled from fragments and partially restored. It is covered with white slip, over which light blue glaze has been applied to the interior. The interior is richly decorated with blue and light-blue underglaze painting featuring vegetal and geometric motifs. A seven-petalled flower is depicted in the centre of the base. A checkerboard pattern is applied along the horizontally curved rim.
