Dish

Description

A red clay dish, hemispherical in shape, on a disc-shaped base. Easelware. The rim is straight, the edges are thickened, slightly curved outward, and have an oval cross-section. It is covered with a light engobe and light green (yellow) glaze. Underglaze floral ornamentation and dotted green and brown inclusions (grape vines) are preserved along the interior walls, rim, and base.
