Mace

Description

One of the types of mace (shoqpar). It was one of the weapons frequently used by warriors during times of warfare. Its handle was made of wood, similar to a whip, while the striking head was oval-shaped. For convenient use in combat, a leather loop was attached so that it could be worn around the wrist. The handle was connected to the chain by a rotating ring, allowing the oval-shaped striking head to swing and deliver blows.
