Matchlock Musket

Description

A gun made of metal and wood. The matchlock gun is loaded with priming powder through a special tube at the bottom of the barrel, and the shot is fired by igniting the match with a flint. The stock of the gun is made of wood and designed for comfortable shooting with the gun braced against the shoulder. The name “matchlock” is derived from the Arabic word “fatila,” meaning “wick” or “match.”
