Description

Jubilee Medal “20 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”.The medal is round, made of brass. On the obverse is the image of a Soviet soldier-liberator standing on two crossed laurel and oak branches, with the inscription “1945-1965”. On the reverse are inscriptions: along the circumference - “Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, in the center - “XX” and a star against a background of radiating rays. The edges of the medal are rimmed with a border. The images and inscriptions are raised.The medal, measuring 32 mm in diameter, is attached by a loop and ring to a pentagonal mount covered with a silk moiré ribbon.
