Description
Balbal is a monument dating back to the Ancient Turkic period, carved from stone in the form of a human figure. It is widely found throughout all regions of Kazakhstan. “Balbal” is a word of Old Turkic origin. The face of a human figure is carved on the stone. It was discovered in the vicinity of Aktasty village, Kegen District.
