Description

The photograph depicts the student years of Nurtileu Imangaliuly, a native of Aksu District who later became a prominent figure in Kazakh television and a well-known television presenter. The photograph is in black and white.
He is wearing a light-colored striped cap. Over a knitted sweater with a visible collar, he is dressed in a special jacket of the Student Construction Brigade (SSB), which served as the uniform of a brigade member.
On the reverse side of the photograph, there is a handwritten inscription by Nurtileu Imangaliuly: “Балаларыңыздың студенттік шағынан ескерткіш. Алматы-Торғай. 2.х.1973ж ІІ курс”, meaning “A keepsake from your children’s student years. Almaty-Torgai. October 2, 1973. Second year.”
