Order of the Red Star Order

Description

The Order of the Patriotic War, First Class, awarded to the Great Patriotic War veteran I. E. Smolensky. The decoration is in the shape of a five-pointed star covered with red enamel. At the center of the star, on a shield, is the image of a Red Army soldier. Around the shield is the inscription “PATRIOTIC WAR”. The center of the shield features the hammer and sickle emblem. The shield, inscription, and the hammer and sickle are finished with an oxidized coating.
