Description
Illustration by the artist Isatai Isabayev for the book “Dulat Zhyrau” (xylographic cliché). Designed for the ornamentation of the research work by scholar Kulmat Omiraliyev, dedicated to the life and creative legacy of Dulat Babatayuly. Carved on a rectangular wooden block, the composition reflects the social dynamics of 19th-century Kazakh society and the philosophical motifs of zhyrau poetry.
