Description

The iron gaff is a forged tool made by hand forging, used for catching sturgeon and hunting seals. It is a two-pronged instrument with pointed ends. One of the prongs is bent at a 90° angle and has a crescent shape. At the lower part, there is a socket for attaching a wooden handle, which was fixed to the gaff with nails.
