Description
Portrait of Sara Tastanbekkyzy. The painting depicts the poet Sara at around 17 years old, dressed in traditional Kazakh attire: a dress and a kamzol, with a böryk on her head, which extends down to her chest. Her hair is braided into two plaits. The front of the kamzol is embroidered with a traditional ornament. Painted in 1993 by Kazakh restoration artists. Framed in a baguette frame.
