Armor-piercing аrrowhead

Description

This exhibit is an arrowhead that is elongated, pointed, and diamond-shaped. The rear has a long tang for securely attaching it to a wooden shaft. Thanks to its sharp and strong tip, the arrow could easily penetrate armor, helmets, and thick hides. This type of arrow was used to defeat an opponent’s protective gear, including armor, shields, and heavy clothing. It was part of the military arsenal of nomadic Turkic and Kipchak tribes, and later used in Kazakh military formations.
