Whistling аrrowhead

Description

This exhibit is a whistling arrowhead, used as the tip of a bow arrow. The arrowhead has a tapered shape, and the rear part is hollow with a single hole. When shot from a bow, air passes through this hole, producing a sound similar to a “whistle.” This sound was used to signal warriors or to intimidate the enemy.
Whistling arrows were used by the Scythians, Huns, and Turkic tribes.
