Description

This exhibit is a machine gun ammunition belt designed for feeding cartridges into the weapon. The belt consists of several interconnected metal links, each holding a single round. Such belts were widely used in both light and heavy machine guns, as they provided continuous and automatic ammunition supply during firing.
The ammunition belt enabled sustained fire and significantly increased the combatant’s firepower.
