А тaqiya is a national headwear of the Kazakh people and belongs to the type of lightweight summer caps. The taqiya is made of black velour material, with the interior lined with shiny black fabric. The top is decorated with traditional ornament embroidered with red and white threads. The taqiya is preserved as a personal belonging of Tängirbergen Qalilakhanov.
