“Tana” button

Description

“Tana” button – a type of decorative ornament worn on the collar, headdress, and chest part of clothing. It was mainly used as an adornment for women’s traditional garments. The item has a hole in the center, its surface is decorated with engraved linear patterns, and coated with lacquer. It belongs to the traditional objects of Kazakh decorative and applied art.
