Medal for Military Labor

Description

Medal “For Combat Merit”. Awarded to: Voron V.P.

The medal is circular and attached by an eyelet and ring to a pentagonal mount. The mount is covered with a grey silk moiré ribbon with two longitudinal golden stripes at the edges.

On the obverse, along the upper circumference, is the inscription “USSR” in recessed letters covered with ruby-red enamel. Below is a raised three-line inscription: “For Combat Merit”. Underneath the inscription is a raised depiction of a rifle with bayonet and sling, crossed with a saber. The obverse has a raised rim.

The reverse of the mount has a pin fastening.
