Description

A one-kopeck coin from the Russian Empire period. Made of a copper-nickel alloy. On the obverse, within a central circle, are the inscriptions “1 Kopeck,” “SPB,” and “Russian Copper Coin.” The upper part bears the date “1899,” while the lower edge is decorated with a floral ornament. On the reverse is the coat of arms of the Russian Empire enclosed within a circular border. Around the upper part appears the inscription “Russian Copper Coin,” and around the lower part, “One Kopeck.” The coin circulated as legal tender within the Russian Empire.
