The Medal “For Combat Merit” No. 2966674 was awarded to Ganja P.I.
The medal is circular in shape and is attached by a loop and ring to a pentagonal mount covered with a gray silk moiré ribbon with two longitudinal golden stripes along the edges. On the obverse, in the upper part along the edge, there is the inscription “USSR” in recessed letters covered with ruby-red enamel. Below it is a three-line relief inscription: “For Combat Merit.” Beneath the inscription is a relief image of a rifle with a fixed bayonet and a loose sling, crossed with a saber. The obverse is bordered with a rim. The reverse side of the mount has a pin-type clasp.
