Medal “50 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

Description

The medal “50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” by Berezina M.M. is round in shape. On the front side of the medal, there are images of the Kremlin wall with the Spasskaya Tower, the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat, and a celebratory salute. At the bottom of the medal is an image of the Order of the Patriotic War and the numbers “1945-1995”, surrounded by laurel branches. On the reverse side of the medal, there is a central inscription that reads “50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. At the bottom, there is a laurel semi-wreath along the edge. The edges of the medal are framed with a rim. All inscriptions and images on the medal are embossed. The medal is attached to a pentagonal suspension by means of a loop and a ring, covered with a red silk moiré ribbon. On the left edge of the ribbon, there are five stripes: three black and two orange. The outer black stripes are bordered with orange stripes. On the reverse side of the suspension, there is a pin attachment.
