Description

A metal vessel with a spout used for boiling tea water. The interior consists of a firebox for burning fuel and a surrounding chamber filled with water. The top is covered with a lid. Handles are attached for carrying and for opening/closing the lid. Factory mark of the Tula plant on the lid and body: «Производство Тул. патрон. зав.» Tula Cartridge Plant. Late 19th - early 20th century. Russia, Tula. Material: nickel metal, wood. Technique: casting. Dimensions: height 56 cm, diameter 23 cm.
