Oil lamp

Description

A chiraq with a truncated conical reservoir, a long straight spout, and a loop-shaped handle. The outer surface of the reservoir is decorated with an incised ornament consisting of long groove-like lines; on one side, they are arranged almost perpendicular to the bottom of the chiraq, while on the other side, they are incised at an angle to it. The handle and spout are faceted. The chiraq is covered with green glaze over white underglaze slip. The heel is heart-shaped and decorated with a vegetal relief ornament depicting a stylized grapevine, made using a stamping technique. A spiral-shaped relief is present on the bottom of the reservoir.
