Wall clock

Description

The Yantar wall-mounted electromechanical clock was manufactured at the Oryol Clock Factory and made in the distinctive “clock-picture” style. The rectangular case is designed as a wide baguette frame with decorative embossing, giving the clock an artistic appearance and allowing it to be used as an interior decoration element. The clock is equipped with a quartz mechanism. The exhibit reflects the characteristics of Soviet household clock production and decorative interior design in the second half of the 20th century. It has historical, domestic, artistic and cultural value.
