Water vessel

Description

A red-clay water vessel (“duck” type). The body is spherical in shape, with a neck displaced from the center and a handle attached to the upper part. The pouring spout is applied separately, directed upward, with a chipped rim edge. The back part of the vessel is blackened by soot. The surface is coated with red slip. Strips with vegetal motifs were applied to the sides of the vessel on the wet clay.
