Description

Pile carpet. The central field of rectangular form with claret background. Ornamented with large rhombuses and inscribed rosettes shatyrgul, consisting of patterns tortkulak, tyshkanizi, sharshy. Bordered by three broken ornamental stripes from patterns synykmuiz of black, dark blue colors and one narrow strip alamonshak of white-black color. Wide internal border ornamented with triangles tumarsha with inscribed patterns tulgamuiz on background alternating on color and forming mesh ornament. Narrow external border ornamented with white pattern tis. Pile border of black color. From two sides on width – fringe from warp twisted woolen white threads. 2nd half of the 20th century. Woolen yarn, cotton threads, pile weaving. 200х250 cm. South-Kazakhstan (Shymkent) region.
