Baskur.
Описание
Baskur is a wide decorative belt wrapped around the junction of the uyuk and kerege to prevent the tuyrlyk (felt covering of the yurt) from rubbing against the top of the kerege. The item is woven from green and yellow threads with ornamentation, and the edges are trimmed with white thread. The baskur measures 20 meters in length and 10 cm in width. It was made at the Almaty Carpet Weaving Factory named after V. Tereshkova. Used for decorating the yurt.
