Описание

Baskur is a wide band used to protect the joint of the uyuk and kerege in a yurt, preventing the felt from wearing out when it touches the kerege. It is woven with green and red threads featuring ornamentation, and its edges are trimmed with yellow and black threads. The length of the baskur is 11 m, width 28 cm. Manufactured at the Almaty Carpet Weaving Factory named after V.Tereshkova.
