Description

Baskur is a wide band wrapped around the joint of the uyk and kerege to prevent wear of the tuyrlyk in the yurt. It is knitted with green and orange threads with an ornamental pattern, edged with white thread. The baskur measures 10 meters in length and 30 cm in width. Manufactured at the V. Tereshkova Carpet Factory in Almaty.
