Description
Coarse-grained blue marble. Contains calcite (CaCO₃), inclusions of garnet (grossular), as well as impurities of bornite (purple) and chalcopyrite (yellow). The marble has a multifaceted crystalline form.
Place of origin: Sayak deposit, Sayak-1 quarry. The sample was discovered by the senior geologist of the mine, S. Smigonovsky.
