In the background, through an opening, is an urban industrial landscape: multi-storey buildings, construction structures, and a tower beneath an overcast sky. The monumentality of the image and the coloristic structure align the work with the tradition of the Severe Style in Soviet painting. At the lower right - a signature and date.
