Description
Inscriptions on the obverse: the small state coat of arms of the 1883 model is depicted on the upper part of the banknote. Below is the year of the banknote sample “1909”. Under the year there are inscriptions “STATE CREDIT CARD” and the face value in words “FIVE RUBLES”, below the inscription “The State Bank exchanges credit cards for a gold coin …” These are all inscriptions on the background of the number “5”. There are signatures of the manager and the cashier.
On the reverse: there is a crown at the top of the banknote, and the coat of arms of Russia below. The elements of autocracy are collected under it: a power, a crossed scepter with a sword. It’s all topped with oak branches and olives. Under all this, there are parts from the law of November 14, 1897.
