Description

A traditional national item. According to Kazakh custom, it is a special decorative space hung in the corner of the room where newlyweds spend their wedding night. The shymyldyk bas is made of red, blue, and yellow velvet, decorated with a ram’s horn ornament (qoshqar muyiz). In the center, an image of swans – the symbol of love – is embroidered on white brocade fabric. This piece represents the family traditions and artistic craftsmanship of the Kazakh people. Handmade
