Certificate of Merit (Diploma)

Description

The certificate was issued by the Embi District Committee of the Komsomol of Kazakhstan to K. Orazbayev, a participant in the district schoolchildren’s amateur artistic activities, for good performance of individual numbers. The award was presented during a review dedicated to the 100th anniversary of V. I. Lenin’s birth and the 50th anniversary of Soviet Kazakhstan. The vertically oriented document is framed by a double graphic border. The upper section features a red flag with Lenin’s profile, the abbreviation “VLKSM,” and laurel branches with ribbons. The central background contains a stylized outline of the globe and the orbit of an artificial satellite. The lower section bears the date 18.IV.70, the handwritten signature of N. Nazarov, secretary of the Embi District Komsomol Committee, and an official round stamp. The paper shows minor yellowing and edge wear.
