Description
Whip with a bone handle. The whip holds an important place in Kazakh life and traditions. In times of war, it was used as a weapon, and in peacetime as a symbol of authority. There are many types of whips. The whip should be held in the right hand. In everyday use, the handle and plait are folded together. Holding the whip with a dangling plait or dragging it into the house is considered a sign of hostility and disrespect.
