Description

This artifact is a medium-sized clay jug intended for everyday domestic use. It was discovered approximately 30 km from Oil Pumping Station No. 211 and was donated to the museum collection by Berdiev Asan Utegenovich. The vessel was hand-formed from natural clay and fired at high temperature. It has a truncated conical shape with a thickened rim and an undecorated surface. Visible chips, cracks, and traces of long-term burial indicate natural aging and prolonged use. The jug is a valuable archaeological object illustrating nineteenth-century pottery traditions and the household practices of the local population.
