Mountain Pasture painting

Description

The watercolor is painted in vibrant hues. The background is a bluish-yellow color. The painting depicts houses settled in a valley at the foot of a mountain against the sky. The snow on top of the mountain has not yet melted. At the beginning of spring, two similar yurts are pitched close to each other. The white felt is adorned with red paints and the roof is covered. Yellowish paints are applied along the yurt’s ribs. Near the houses, two horses are grazing, overseen by a herder on the other side. The first days of spring are portrayed.
