This is a reproduced cover of Issue XI of the revolutionary Russian newspaper Kolokol, originally published in 1857. The title “Kolokol” is written in white letters and placed inside a red rectangle at the top of the page. Below it appears the inscription:
“Newspaper of A.I.Herzen and N.P. Ogaryov”, followed by the word “Contents”.
