Baskur .

Описание

Baskur is an interior element of the yurt, a decorative band tied at the junction of the uyk (roof pole) and kerege (wall frame) to protect the felt covering (tuurlyk) from wear. This type of baskur is woven with pile, making it strong and visually appealing. A white fabric strip is sewn in the center, embroidered with colorful threads forming geometric patterns and traditional ornaments. The edges are bordered with black threads and finished with a brown ornamental trim. Such baskurs are used not only for structural purposes but also to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the yurt interior.
